Mississippi has one of the smaller charging footprints in the country, and no single city dominates it. Jackson has the most, with the coast around Biloxi and Gulfport, Meridian, Tupelo and the Memphis suburbs at Southaven each holding a handful.

That spread works in your favor, because the sites sit roughly where the highways are. Close to a third of ports are DC fast, so crossing the state is workable as long as you plan it deliberately. Tesla runs the most locations here, ahead of ChargePoint, EV Connect, Blink Charging and eVgo Network. Between towns, assume nothing and confirm your next stop before you commit to a leg.

On the road

I-55 runs north to south through Jackson, I-20 crosses east to west through Vicksburg, Jackson and Meridian, I-59 runs southwest from Meridian through Hattiesburg, and I-10 follows the Gulf coast. Those four link every town with meaningful charging. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a fine drive but has no commercial services along it, so charge in the towns you exit to.
